Key responsibilities/duties:

1.Participate in and lead the development of the IP and SoC products.

2.Manage the projects, assign resources and follow up progresses, manage priorities and lead times, manage the efficiency and delivery quality.

3.Assist the Design Director in managing and developing the team competencies; and in recruiting, training and coaching. Assist in managing and evolving the design flow.

4.Participate in and lead the collaboration with various internal/external teams for place & route; feasibility study; product specification and datasheet; product package, test, debug, validation, and characterization; IP/library development, etc.

5.Work with external licensers, IP providers and design service providers, the back-end subcontractors, the foundry, and the package/test house, to efficiently and effectively complete the design projects, when necessary. Collaborate with the oversea teams for the best overall efficiency.

6.Supervise a group of Design Engineers and Senior Design Engineers when assigned.
